Review Policy

At Guud Woman, we believe it’s important for customers to find honest and reliable information about our products. Below, we explain how we handle reviews and how our scores are calculated.

1. How we collect reviews

We collect reviews through Okendo, an independent and recognized review platform integrated into our webshop.

After each purchase, the customer automatically receives an email invitation to review the purchased product. Technically, anyone can submit a review via the product page, but we manually check whether the provided email address and order number match a real purchase. Reviews that are not linked to an actual order are removed and not included in our average score.

‘Verified buyer’ and ‘verified review’ mean that the review comes from a real customer who has placed an order with Guud. Verification is done via the order number and the email address used for the purchase.

2. Publication of reviews

We publish all reviews that meet our guidelines, whether positive or negative. We never alter the content of reviews. If a review contains inappropriate language, it will not be published.

Reviews may be translated to improve readability, but the content and meaning remain unchanged.

The review score on our homepage (e.g., 4.7/5 based on 750 reviews) is a dynamic average that is automatically updated when new reviews are added.

3. Discounts for reviews

Sometimes we offer customers a discount code as a thank-you for leaving a review. This benefit is granted regardless of whether the review is positive, neutral, or negative.

Since the discount code is sent afterwards and is optional to use, it is not always possible for us to indicate in the review overview which reviewers received or used the benefit.

We state in our review policy that this thank-you program exists, so consumers are aware that some reviews may have been written by customers who later received a benefit. The content of the review is always entirely the choice of the reviewer and is never influenced by us.

4. Review ranking

Reviews are displayed by default from most recent to least recent. Visitors can also filter reviews by product on the review page.

5. How the overall score is calculated

The product score is the average of all approved reviews for that product, calculated by Okendo. The overall Guud score (as shown on the homepage) is the average of all product reviews combined.

6. How to submit a review

Only customers who have made a purchase and received an invitation can submit a review directly via the invitation email.

Customers can also leave a review via the product page, after which we manually verify that it comes from a genuine customer.

7. Reporting suspicious or fake reviews

If you believe a review is fake or misleading, please contact us at support@guudwoman.com with the link to the review and your reasoning.

We carefully investigate every report and remove reviews that do not meet our authenticity criteria.
