The new year is just around the corner, and for many of us, that means a time for reflection and new resolutions. But what if we ditch the traditional New Year's resolutions and embrace an approach that truly works? 12 Things I Want to Change This Year

1. Improve my bedtime routine by finishing work on time. Instead of mindlessly scrolling, I want to relax by reading something before bed. A good night's sleep has a domino effect on the rest of your life. That's why this is my number one priority.

2. Drink less coffee and replace it with matcha or a raw cacao drink. While coffee may provide energy, these alternatives are more nutritious and gentler on your body. Also read: The influence of coffee on your hormones.

3. More active breaks during work hours . Walking or a short stretching session in between to maintain my focus and energy.

4. Do gratitude exercises . Take a moment every day to write down what I'm grateful for, no matter how small. This helps you develop a positive mindset.

5. Brain dumps. When my head is too full of to-dos, I write everything down. It can be a huge relief! Some people like to do this before bed, others prefer it when they wake up. Find what works for you.

6. Schedule some self-care by occasionally booking a massage or visiting the sauna. Or by getting my nails done or getting a haircut. There are plenty of options to choose from – now I just need to schedule them!

7. Spend more time with friends . Starting a business and raising a family have put my social life on the back burner. Time to find balance and reconnect with the people I care about.

8. Less pleasing by saying "no ." This creates space for the things that really matter and prevents me from getting ahead of myself.

9. Experiment in the kitchen . Try new recipes that are not only delicious but also nutritious. Discover all our recipes here.

10. Schedule an analog Saturday . A day without screens to truly enjoy the moment, my family, being outdoors, and friends.

11. Start creative projects . Make time to paint, write, or try something new that sparks my creative juices.
