Beetroot contains betacyanin, which detoxifies the liver and helps remove toxins from the body.

The antioxidants and nutrients in beetroot can also help maintain healthy skin and prevent signs of aging.

The nitrates in beetroot help produce energy in the cells, which can increase endurance and physical performance.

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams of beetroot
  • 75 grams of arugula salad
  • 50 grams of feta cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • juice of ½ lemon
  • salt and pepper
  • oregano
  • walnuts

Preparation method:

  • For the dressing, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, mustard, and oregano and mix well.
  • Cut the beetroot into pieces and place them in a bowl on the rocket salad.
  • Chop a handful of walnuts and crumble them over the salad, together with the feta cheese.
  • Pour the homemade dressing over the salad to finish it off.

Tip:

Add sesame seeds and sunflower seeds to the salad for extra flavor.
