How can you balance your blood sugar levels during the premenstrual phase?

During the premenstrual phase, it's crucial to keep your blood sugar levels balanced. Research has shown that adding cinnamon to our dishes significantly lowers blood sugar levels.

Ingredients:

  • 1 apple
  • 1 roll of puff pastry
  • 200 g chickpeas
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons date syrup

Preparation method:

  • Peel the apple and remove the core.
  • Melt the coconut oil in a saucepan and steam the apple in it until it is soft.
  • Rinse the chickpeas under water and add them to the pan with the steamed apple.
  • Mix everything into a smooth mixture and then add the date syrup and cinnamon.
  • Spread the mixture on the puff pastry. Roll up the pastry and cut it into 9 pieces.
  • Place the rolls on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
