Guud Flow is a multivitamin designed to support women’s cycle and hormonal balance. It contains folate (Quatrefolic®), among other nutrients, and is safe to continue using during pregnancy if desired.
Guud Prenatal is also a multivitamin, specially formulated to support women who are actively trying to conceive and to promote a healthy pregnancy. Unlike Guud Flow, it contains no vitamin A, and includes Choline (Phosphatidylcholine) and Quatrefolic®.
Guud Prenatal contains Quatrefolic® a bioavailable, active form of folate (5-MTHF) that your body can absorb and use immediately. This is especially helpful if your body struggles to convert regular folic acid.
Nope. Prenatal already contains a sufficient amount of folic acid (500 micrograms). Active folic acid is better absorbed than synthetic folic acid, which you can find in supplements from other brands. This means you don't need to take extra folic acid when you take Prenatal.
We have chosen natural and active ingredients that are well absorbed in the body. We avoid synthetic forms of vitamins and minerals, unnecessary fillers, and unnecessary colourings that are often found in other supplements. Our supplements are as natural as possible. For example, we work with Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) for our capsules instead of (bovine) gelatine. Hydroxypropyl cellulose is made from cellulose. In many dietary supplements, you will also find silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate and titanium dioxide. These substances are used respectively to improve capsule filling and to make the capsules white. We do not use silicon and titanium dioxide because EFSA (European Food & Safety Agency) no longer considers these substances safe due to negative effects on hereditary material (genotoxicity).
Many prenatals use choline bitartrate, a water-soluble form that peaks quickly in the blood. But fast doesn’t mean better. Phosphatidylcholine, our choice, is fat-soluble and absorbed more gradually — with longer-lasting and more targeted delivery to the brain, liver, and placenta. This makes it more effective for supporting fetal development.
